聽神談【「懲罰 」和「 後果」之間的差別 】
高度演化的社會已經觀察到，人們從懲罰能學到的非常少。他們的結論是：「後果」才是比較好的老師(consequences are the better teacher)。
所有有意識知覺的生命(sentient beings)都明白「懲罰 」和「 後果」之間的差別。
懲罰是「人為創造」的結果。後果是「自然發生」的結果。(Punishments are artificially created outcomes. Consequences are naturally occurring outcomes.)
懲罰是由價值體系與受罰人不同的人「由外強加在受罰人身上」的。後果則是「由自己在內部所體驗到」的。
懲罰是「在你以外的人決定你做錯了」。後果則是一個人「自己體驗到某事行不通」，自己看到它無法產生一種想要的結果（或「功能」無法發揮）。

Highly evolved societies have observed that little is learned from punishments. They have concluded that consequences are the better teacher.
All sentient beings know the difference between punishments and consequences.
Punishments are artificially created outcomes. Consequences are naturally occurring outcomes.
Punishments are imposed from the outside by someone with a value system different from the one being punished. Consequences are experienced on the inside, by the Self.
Punishments are someone else's decision that one has done wrong. Consequences are one's own experience that something does not work. That is, it did not produce an intended result.
